Eighty years to the day of its original grand opening, the building was given new life when the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and Gaylord-Pickens Museum opened. Located in Heritage Hills, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It features original craftmanship, including stunning exterior and interior columns, period staircases and banisters, white Vermont marble, and Honduran mahogany. Close to Midtown and downtown, the building is an iconic landmark that provides a combination of historic charm and modern amenities. Founded in 1927, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame is a nonprofit that preserves Oklahoma's unique heritage by telling Oklahoma's story through its people. The organization was created to honor exceptional Oklahomans and provide educational opportunities for students of all ages. Interactive exhibits and educational programs are offered not only in the Gaylord-Pickens Museum, but through outreach programs across the state. 1400 Classen Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 405.523.3206 | [email protected] OklahomaHOF.com
