Training Types I use education to provide access to support for Black women during/after DV &/or support for Black girls to avoid DV by training: 1) Centers of Must a) Black women - educate on creating/maintaining safe spaces that encourage access to your services b) Black girls - help you identify possible adultification in your approach to them & its impact 2) Centers of Trust - Focus on safety and lifesaving information to know to support the Black women who trust you 3) Black Women Protectors - The Man Box training
Training Times ○ 2.5 hour minimum ○ Perfect for groups that only need 1 training ○ Short break included ○ ½ day training ○ Great for groups to include multiple breaks ○ Small group sessions ○ Role play - immediate concepts practice w/trainer ○ Full day training ○ Ideal for groups needing multiple training subjects ○ Lunch break included ○ Small group sessions ○ Role play
Per Training Cost Estimate ○ Cost per hour $500 ○ Billable hours cost x number of hours ○ Billing cost minimum is 2.5 hours = length of 1 training ○ Any billable hour portions are rounded up to nearest ¼ hour ○ Billable hours = work in training and work with client, incl but not limited to the following: ○ Client communication - phone/email/meetings ○ Community engagement - finding out what your community’s Black women/girls need from you to improve svcs to them ○ Onsite/remote - training ○ Onsite/remote follow-up guidance/technique application assistance
