11 Container Shipping Providing container feeder services within the GCC region for more than 50 years, Milaha caters for the feeder requirements of global main liners and regional container operators with a network of own and chartered vessels ranging 1000 TEUs to 4,600 TEUs as well as a number of vessel sharing agreements. Milaha also offers regular container services to local importers and exporters in the Gulf, Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Mediterranean and Black Sea In 2019, Milaha formed new alliances in the India-Arabian Gulf sector and expanded its services to selected markets in South East Asia and in Europe. In this context, Milaha launched its new Black Sea Express Service (BSX), a container feeder route linking ports in Black Sea and East Mediterranean. Logistics Milaha has been providing logistics services to a wide range of companies for more than 30 years. The services range from global air and sea freight forwarding, customs clearance, document- and cargo handling to land transport, warehousing and industrial facility management including cranes, heavy equipment and specialized manpower services. In recent years, Milaha has restructured a number of its facilities and introduced unique services to enhance its customers supply chain connectivity and efficiency. In 2018, Milaha inaugurated the first phase of its 400,000 sqm Milaha Logistics City, which accommodates a 35,000 m 2 warehousing facility dedicated to the storage of frozen, chilled and temperature-controlled cargo. The Logistics City is a state-of-the art facility catering to food & perishables, electronics and other fast-moving consumer goods. In 2019, Milaha partnered with Qatars General Authority of Customs to open the first 3PL bonded warehouse in Doha within Milaha Logistics City. The bonded warehouse facility acts as a one-stop shop enabling seamless flow of goods into Qatar, local/regional distribution, re-export and duty/VAT free storage and customs clearance services among other government transactions and facilities. 12 Milaha owns and operates a fleet of Aframax/ LR2 tankers, LNG and LPG/ Ammonia carriers. In addition, Milaha has stakes ranging from 15 - 30% in six LNG carriers, and a 50% stake in Gulf LPG; the owner and operator of four Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) in partnership with Nakilat. In addition to the above, Milaha is also the founder shareholder of Nakilat, the worlds largest LNG shipping company, where we own over 36% share. Milaha has vast experience in chartering vessels and in dealing with major oil and gas players around the world. The Companys commercial strategy has enabled it to realize returns across cycles with robust pre-fixture & post-fixture operations. The Service value is scalable to suit the Clients project and objectives. Milaha Offshore and its subsidiaries, have been recognized through regional and international safety awards, accreditations and certificates of appreciation. Milaha Offshore provides offshore construction support vessels, equipment and personnel for mechanical, structural and maintenance projects. The manufacturing and installation of simple or complex structures can be executed in house or in support of 3rd party industry experts as required. Milaha Offshore provides in country end to end services, customized to unique offshore and marine requirements. 15 Harbor Marine Operations The majority of the boats in the Harbor Marine Operations unit are on a 20-year contract with Qatar Petroleum, with the remainder working ad hoc jobs on short to medium term contracts OFFSHORE MARINE Milaha Offshore is a provider of a wide spread of world-class offshore support services, with a presence extending from the Middle East to Europe, Africa and South East Asia Milaha Offshore provides a range of Diving, Survey and Subsea services through owned and operated, advanced subsea inspection and maintenance equipment. Milaha Offshore owns and operates a fleet of over 75 high specification offshore support vessels across the service spectrum to support Marine, Exploration & Drilling, Production, EPIC, Maintenance, Jack-up Accommodation, Rig-less Well Intervention, Stimulation, Diving & Survey and Subsea intervention projects as well as inshore and harbor services. Our fleet also includes anchor handling and supply vessels, safety standby boats, workboats, crew boats, and dynamic positioning (DP) vessels, allowing us to provide a complete range of diving services including saturation diving. Ship Management The entire Milaha owned fleet of vessels (over 90 vessels of varied types ranging from Deep sea, Offshore support and Harbor support vessels) is currently managed in house by Milaha Ship Management team. They ensure that the vessels operate efficiently and safely wherever they are in the world, meeting with client requirements and complying with the highest international standards. Marine and Industrial Products Milaha provides a full range of products for vessel owners and operators from bunker and ship supplies (including lubricants, fresh water, chemicals, consumables) to marine engines and spare parts. As Milaha is a major consumer of these products, we select only the best brands that balance performance and cost being able to leverage our internal volumes and our logistics network to offer the lowest prices to our customers. Leveraging our agency relationships with Castrol, Fuchs and Lukoil, we also offer non-marine customers such as industrial and automotive users high quality lubricants to enable them to get increased performance and longevity from their assets. MARINE AND TECHNICAL SERVICES Milahas operations within this pillar are focused on providing vessel and industrial equipment owners & operators with comprehensive asset lifecycle services to help them achieve greater asset efficiency and optimise their total cost of operations. Our technical operations manage Milahas own vessel and land fleet and equipment, and as one of the largest and most sophisticated operators in the region, we are able to offer customers superior capabilities at the lowest price. Shipping Agencies was the first Shipping Agent to be established in Qatar in 1957 and is now the largest in the country, providing a full range of port agency and ship chandling services at all ports in Qatar. Shipping Agencies Shipyard Milaha Shipyard has been providing Qatar and the regions marine and industrial sectors with efficient and trustworthy services since 1978. Strategically located in Mesaieed Industrial City at the heart of Qatars industrial sector, few miles from Hamad Port, the Shipyard operates two floating docks, one Shiplift, and large workshops facilities with the ability to carry our Dry dock and afloat repair works for vessels up to 230m LOA. The Shipyard offers repair and refit services to Naval vessels and yachts, with a unique specialized newly built facility. Along with supporting the marine sector, Milaha Shipyard has also engaged in the past years into onshore plants maintenance & shutdowns and established an efficient solution for any type of steel fabrication, tanks, pressure vessels and piping works. Trucks and Equipment Management Milaha offers heavy equipment and fleet owners a range of recognized brands such as Hino, Terberg, Sennebogen and Lonking forklifts with extensive spare parts for these brands. Our services also include sophisticated maintenance and after-sales service capabilities to ensure maximum and safe utilization with the lowest total cost of operations. Shipping Agencies Department acts as a dynamic intermediary between shipping lines and operators, as well as service providers and government authorities involved in vessel handling. Today, Milaha enjoys a dominant presence in the Qatari market representing world renowned global shipping lines, vessel operators, offshore vessel operators, and Oil & Gas EPC contractors. Milaha is managing a large portfolio of financial and property investments, which helps maintain our underlying financial strength, in addition to supporting the real estate requirements of our individual businesses. Milahas investment portfolios yielded increased dividend income in 2018 as our real estate unit maintained high occupancy levels. Additionally, Milaha is pursuing the development of a large villa compound that is expected to be completed in the second half of 2019. CAPITAL Investments Milaha Capital maintains a significant but targeted portfolio of investments in start-up and established companies in Qatar. We hold QR 4.1 billion worth of available-for-sale listed equities and a QR 139 million trading portfolio. These investments are either strategic complementing Milahas core business or purely financial to maximize returns on our shareholders capital. Real Estate Milaha owns a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential developments and land plots in Qatar. Milaha continues to generate rental income from large developments such as the Navigation Tower in West Bay. This 52-floor Grade-A tower is fully leased to a blue-chip tenant. 18
