Swire Properties is celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2022. We celebrate original thinking during this milestone year with our “ORIGINAL. ALWAYS.” campaign. “ORIGINAL” captures our creative and innovative spirit. “ALWAYS” refers to our long- term commitment over the decades, and into the future. During the year we also celebrate the contributions we make to happier and healthier communities; from transformative placemaking and leadership in sustainability, to our care and consideration for people and the value we place on culture and arts for everyone.
This year we are looking forward to recognising our 50th anniversary in an original way. Join us as we mark this important occasion by celebrating our values and our achievements, while looking to the future with confidence. Our celebrations will focus on originality. Originality has always set us apart. It is central to what we stand for. It speaks to our dedication to quality, good design and our commitment to the process which we refer to as Creative Transformation. Taikoo Hui Guangzhou Designed by the acclaimed architectural studio Arquitectonica, Taikoo Hui has become one of Guangzhou’s landmarks and a business, shopping, dining and lifestyle destinations. Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu In a world struggling to protect tradition and cultural identity, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu is a breath of fresh air. Instead of the conventional tower approach, Taikoo Li Chengdu, designed by The Oval Partnership, architects of Taikoo Li Sanlitun, continued the ‘lane ’retail concept with a strong aesthetic directly inspired by traditional Sichuan architecture with an innovative, modern approach. This example of the Taikoo Li concept features six traditional courtyards and buildings within the site that have been preserved and revitalised. That’s original. Tong Chong Street Market Tong Chong Street Market is a great example of how thinking outside of the box can transform neighbourhoods and communities. Established in 2016 as a way to promote a new and emerging culinary art form - gourmet street food. Launched in 2014, PROJECT AFTER 6 is an engagement programme that aims uncover and showcase office professionals’ unexplored talents. By bringing art, music and entertainment into their work environments, PROJECT AFTER 6 gives individuals a rare stage to perform for live audiences while strengthening connections between office executives and building a sense of community. CULTURE AND THE ARTS Swire Properties believes that cultural activities and the arts play an important role in sustaining vibrant communities – helping foster local identity and pride while inspiring creativity and enriching the quality of people’s lives. Our developments across our portfolio feature an extensive range of artwork on permanent display, commissioned from international and local artists. For over 20 years, Swire Properties has also supported the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in its commitment to provide high-quality art experiences for young people.
