This example of the Taikoo Li concept features six traditional courtyards and buildings within the site that have been preserved and revitalised.                                       CULTURE AND THE ARTS Swire Properties believes that cultural activities and the arts play an important role in sustaining vibrant communities – helping foster local identity and pride while inspiring creativity and enriching the quality of people’s lives. Our developments across our portfolio feature an extensive range of artwork on permanent display, commissioned from international and local artists. For over 20 years, Swire Properties has also supported the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in its commitment to provide high-quality art experiences for young people. We work closely with our partners to contribute to the cultural scene in the cities where we operate, with events such as the annual Swire Properties Arts Month in Hong Kong, a diverse showcase of local and international talent, the Beijing Music Festival at Taikoo Li Sanlitun and INDIGO and the youth-focused Canton Culture Summer Camp at Taikoo Hui in Guangzhou. We also provide dedicated spaces for exhibitions and performances, including ArtisTree in Taikoo Place and The Red in Taikoo Li Sanlitun.
