Brad Svrluga #17 Cofounder and general partner, Primary Venture-capital investors in New York had a banner year in 2021, and Brad Svrluga’s Primary reaped the benefit of it. But he led the pack there long before last year’s boom. Svrluga has been investing out of the Big Apple since 2007, and his firm launched the New York City Founder’s Fellowship last year to support aspiring founders. Svrluga led many of his firm’s investments, including Reonomy, a data-management platform for commercial real estate that Altus Group acquired in November for $200 million.
