Ali Partovi #21 Founder, Neo Ali Partovi got his start in tech as a cofounder of the adtech company LinkExchange, which he sold to Microsoft in 1998 for $265 million. These days Partovi is best known as the founder of Neo, a venture fund and startup accelerator. With Neo, Partovi has put together a group of tech mentors who coach young engineers how to build tech startups and who invest in the startups they coach. Partovi led Neo through its two fundraising cycles, with the first closing at $80 million in 2018. More recently, Neo raised a $150 million fund at the end of 2021. Outside of his fund, Partovi invests in a wide variety of startups, including a deal with the corporate-card company Ramp, which became a unicorn in 2021 and is now valued at $8.1 billion.
