Scott Belsky #23 Chief product officer, Adobe Creative Cloud Scott Belsky hit the big time when Adobe acquired his startup, Behance, reportedly for about $100 million in 2012. Since then, he’s served as Adobe’s chief product officer and the executive vice president of Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Belsky did a short stint as a pro VC at Benchmark back in 2016 but is better known as a prolific seed investor. He said he looked for startups with founding teams that were “remarkably imaginative yet grounded by the present.” He listed these among his must-have criteria: “They are driven by empathy for those suffering the problem rather than passion for one particular solution. They are optimistic about the future but pessimistic enough about execution. And they are never ever satisfied with the current state of their product.” Belsky invested early in the fintech Carta, which hit a $7.4 billion valuation in August. Source: businessInsider
