Eric Wu #34 Co-founder and CEO, Opendoor On the day Eric Wu’s real-estate tech company, Opendoor, went public in 2020 via a SPAC, Wu’s stake in the company was worth $1 billion. He was 37, and that wasn’t his first major exit. Wu also founded Movity.com, a geo-data analytics company that Trulia acquired in 2011. And he co-founded RentAdvisor.com, which Apartment List bought in 2013. As a seed investor, Wu has diversified, writing early checks to companies that go far beyond real estate. He backed Clubhouse, the once popular audio social-media app, and Airtable, a cloud-collaboration platform.
