Ramtin Naimi #43 Founder and general partner, Abstract Ventures At 31 years old, Ramtin Naimi has been investing for more than half of his life. He started trading options as a high schooler and founded his own hedge fund at age 22. But it was a pair of cold emails to respected venture capitalists (Stuart Peterson of Artis Ventures and the renowned angel investor Gil Penchina) that put him on the path to becoming a startup investor. In 2016, he founded Abstract Ventures to back the next generation of market-defining companies. This includes the blockchain startup Solana Labs, a competitor to ethereum that insiders say could someday top that currency’s $395 billion market cap.
