Jenny Fielding #45 Cofounder and general partner, The Fund Founders say Jenny Fielding’s network and no-nonsense sensibility have made her one of the most sought-after investors in New York’s startup jungle. She’s had a first glance at thousands of fledgling startups as the former managing director of the accelerator Techstars in New York. She left that role last year to focus on The Fund, a venture firm that she helped start in 2018. It raises funds and pools deal flow from a group of over 500 startup founders and executives. In June, one of Fielding’s investments at Techstars, a smart-lock company called Latch, went public via a SPAC, which brought its market cap to $1.56 billion. And Chainalysis, a blockchain-analytics firm that was part of the inaugural class of the Barclays Accelerator run by Techstars, nabbed a $4.2 billion valuation at its last $100 million financing.
