Instead, he started AngelList in 2016. The website is an investing powerhouse that lets startups raise money from angel investors and funds. In 2021, it allowed more than 12,000 companies to raise a combined $10 billion in assets, the company said. Ravikant, who has also become an angel investor in India, still has an enviable portfolio. He’s backed high-profile crypto startups, such as the trading platform dYdX and the marketplace Dapper Labs, which hit a $7.6 billion valuation in a funding round in September. Source: businessInsider
