Jared Friedman #85 Partner, Y Combinator Jared Friedman was a founder at Y Combinator’s startup accelerator long before joining it as an investor. In 2006, as a senior at Harvard, Friedman attended the storied Silicon Valley accelerator with his classmate Trip Adler. A year later, the duo launched Scribd, an e-book library, out of a San Francisco apartment. Now that Freidman is on the investing side of Y Combinator, he focuses on helping the accelerator’s software startups. He led six seed rounds for Y Combinator this year and was an early investor in Lawn Love, a marketplace for gardening care, which LawnStarter acquired in a cash and stock deal. Source: businessInsider
