Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for DXP Applications Disaster recovery (DR) ensures high availability during unexpected events such as a natural disaster. A robust DR strategy is needed in ensuring business continuity. This section elaborates the DR process for DXP applications. The high-level steps in a DR strategy are given in Figure 8-2. 228
