Delivering Success: Engagement, Legacy and Vision Olympic Winter Games 2026 Sporting Legacy Rising concern about inactivity, obesity and lack of social cohesion make sports development and participation high priorities in many countries around the world. The Olympic Games are a source of inspiration, encouraging all people, especially the young, to take up sport and engage in physical activity. The Games leave a legacy of world-class venues that can be used by both elite athletes and communities.
