We recently partnered with additional HBCUs and other schools with highly diverse student populations to expand our recruitment channels. Military Recruiting Effort GD engages in several opportunities to assist service members in the transition to civilian life by providing training and work experience at one of our many locations. Across our businesses, many of our veteran employees come to us as a result of the SkillBridge program. Sponsored by DoD, SkillBridge provides the opportunity for service members to gain work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships or internships during their last 180 days of service. Engagement in the program elevates our access to a highly trained and motivated candidate pool.
