Our GreenerOffice ™ Delivery Service provides a smart and resourceful way to achieve both of these goals. Over the years, we’ve used millions of cardboard boxes and plastic air pillows for delivering our products. A significantly greater amount of wood is used in the production of corrugated boxes than what is used in the production of paper bags. For orders delivered in bags, we reduce the number of boxes used for deliveries and eliminate the use of air pillows. Orders arrive in a paper bag made with 30% post-consumer recycled fiber. Additionally, the bags are much easier to open and can be conveniently reused or recycled. This program is another step in decreasing the overall use of packing material needed for Office Depot deliveries.
