Temporary employees or “contract” employees are employees who are employed by another employer but supervised on a day-to-day basis by a Whirlpool Corporation employee. Therefore, the total number of employee hours worked is composed of both Whirlpool Corporation employees and non-employees supervised by a Whirlpool Corporation employee.
