Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” All it takes is a few good men and women changing their mental direction to change the direction, compass, and ultimate destination of the world. Plato said, “吀栀ose who tell stories rule the world.” Depending on where you are in your career, you may hesitate. You might not feel you can a昀昀ord to expend a certain percentage of your income on charity. But that’s a big mistake. First of all, just on a tactical level, getting involved with philanthropic endeavors is going to put you in touch with a lot of people you’d never meet if you stu昀昀ed your money into a Prince Albert can, a bank, or your mattress. 吀栀ose people might really help you. Second, if you tell yourself that you can’t a昀昀ord to be charitable, you are falling into the trap of scarcity con- sciousness, which will not help you generate abundance.
