Gett is the free mobile app that lets you book or pre-book a licensed Black Cab in seconds. Available on iPhone and Android, Gett is the go-to app for getting what you need delivered to you, whenever you need it. Absolutely. We only work with licensed Black Taxis which are fully regulated by TFL and all Gett drivers undergo thorough CRB and medical checks. We meet with every single driver that signs up and we take them through a comprehensive training programme, ensuring the highest level of safety for you.

Yes, you can book Gett up to two weeks in advance with our future booking feature. Just tap 'Book a future ride' in the app and change the date for when you want it. Then sit back and relax knowing that your ride is sorted.
If you're in the UK, you can use Gett in 25 major cities nationwide, including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff. And if you travel abroad, you'll find us in New York, Moscow, St. Petersburg and all over Israel. Just pop open the app and your location will be updated.

The servers we use are world-class. All data is kept within highly secure facilities and is protected by extensive network and security monitoring systems. We do not share your data with anyone - everything is kept safe on our secure servers.
In the app, go to the menu on the top left corner of your screen, tap 'payment settings' and then 'add debit/credit card' to register your card in the app. All your rides will then be charged to that card, so you can hop in, hop out and get receipts sent straight to your inbox. Never worry about stopping at the cashpoint ever again.
Just open the menu, select 'coupon code', enter your code and click 'done'. Your account is then credited and your next ride will automatically redeem this code, before charging your card. Coupon codes only work when paying by card, so make sure you've registered your card in the app before you ride.

Which phones can I use the app on?
You can use the GetTaxi app on iphone, Android and Blackberry smart phones while the Windows phone will be speeding its way to you very shortly.
Can we get fixed rates from frequent locations?
Of course you can, no problem. We already offer very competitive fixed rates to Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton Stansted and City airports. Have a different journey you take regularly? Just let us know and we'll take care of it.
How large is your fleet?
We currently have over 1000 licenced London black taxis on our books with more drivers joining daily.
Ok, what are you going to charge me?
A very clear 15% of what's on the meter plus a 5% driver gratuity that goes to the driver... that's it! Not a penny more. Plus, GetTaxi has zero additional waiting time charges, and no run-in charge either.
How do you invoice?
We invoice our corporate clients monthly in arrears. However, you can view your entire ride history online via your GetTaxi account whenever you wish.
Do you operate outside of London?
Yep. GetTaxi is currently running in London, cities across Israel and Moscow, with a NYC expansion planned for 2012.
There must some kind of setup fee? How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. Nada. Zip. We don't charge you a single penny to set up an account.
