Face-up Guards: To assassinate a face-up Guard, play an Assassin card from your hand whose Code contains at least one number that is also contained in the Code of the Guard. Face-down Guards: To assassinate a face-down Guard, you must conduct an “Assassination Attempt.” To carry out an Assassination Attempt, you play your assassin face up on the table and read each number contained in its Code to your opponent.
