Light your Heart wi Hope 2

Sometimes life is hard. From the events happening around the world to the heartbreak in our own homes - life circumstances can become so difficult that we often feel helpless and hopeless. But, the good news is, there is GOOD NEWS! There is help and there is hope! That’s what this booklet is about, hope for today and hope for eternity. 1

For over 20 years, in various ways, the Hunter’s Hope Foundation has had the amazing opportunity to encourage and comfort countless children and families. The booklet you’re holding is another way to do what we have been called to do - bring hope to the hurting - and not just for all of the families we know and love, but for everyone. 2

For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14 (NIV) 4

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1a (NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) 5

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love— not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT) 6

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. Colossians 1:15-16a (NLT) 7

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:28-29 (NIV) 8

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-29 (NIV) 9

Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:9-11 (NIV) 10

For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. Psalm 91:11 (NLT) “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8 (NIV) 11

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (NIV) For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 (NLT) 12

Behold—God is my salvation! I am confident, unafraid, and I will trust in Him. Isaiah 12:2a (TPT) “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) 13

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4 (NIV) 14

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) 15

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the LORD, “You are my LORD; apart from you I have no good thing.” Psalm 16:1-2 (NIV) 16

The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NIV) I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8 (NIV) 17

The LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121:5-8 (NIV) 18

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV) I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8 (NIV) 19
