In the month of May Child Protection Officers (CPOs) from across JCAM were finally able to have an in-person meeting in Nairobi providing an opportunity for all to share their experiences, successes, and challenges and more importantly, to reconnect with their peers and colleagues in mission. Ms. Tina Campbell, the PCCP Project Assistant was in attendance and facilitated a full day’s session on victim support and accompaniment. 2022 is also important for seeing a changing face of Province CPOs as four women have been appointed as CPOs: North-West Africa (ANW), Madagascar (MDG), Southern Africa (SAP) and Rwanda Burundi Region (RWB). Central Africa (ACE) was also represented at Beatrice Mumbi at the ANW theological training. the May meeting by two religious women collaborators with safeguarding responsibilities in the province.
