The project, which is being conducted in collaboration with the French Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sport and the Greater Paris Regional Health Authority, will subsequently be rolled out nationally. Opening the label to special needs schools represents a significant step forward in efforts to increase physical activity and sports participation among young people living with disabilities. It will also help to more effectively integrate disabled children in the school day, as well as wrap-around services and extra-curricular activities.
