Scope of Report Product of Interest (POI): Tire By Vehicle Type: ❑ Passenger Car Tires: Tires that are designed for vehicles like hatchbacks, sedans, coupes, and crossovers fall under passenger car tires. Tread is the outer part of a tire that makes direct contact with the ground. The tread band embodies a grooved section on top of a base, and majority of passenger car tire grooves starts out 9/32 to 13/32 inch deep. OTR tires include tires of all terrain vehicles (ATVs), mining equipment, construction machinery, etc. These tires have shorter tread life as compared to passenger car tires. ❑ Two-Wheeler Tires: Tires used in motorised two-wheelers like motorcycles, mopeds and scooters are classified under Two-Wheeler Tires.
