We seek to achieve this by investing in new product development to help our existing products serve new and current customers and through acquisitions of complementary businesses in established markets. Hubbell’s reporting segments consist of Hubbell Utility Solutions (HUS) and Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES). Both segments support energy infrastructure In Front of The Meter, at The Edge, and Behind The Meter. In Front of The Meter is where utilities transmit and distribute energy to their customers through the grid. The Edge consists of smart meters and communications systems which connect utilities with owners/operators and allow energy and data to be distributed back and forth.
