ABSTRACT Abstract This annualsurveyofemployersprovidesadetailedlookattrendsinemployer-sponsoredhealthcoverageincluding premiums,employeecontributions,cost-sharingprovisions,andemployerpractices. The2017surveyincludedmorethan 2,100interviewswithnon-federalpublicandprivatefirms. Annualpremiumsforemployer-sponsoredfamilyhealthcoveragereached$18,764thisyear,up3%fromlastyear,withworkers onaveragepaying$5,714towardsthecostoftheircoverage,accordingtotheKaiserFamilyFoundation/HealthResearch& EducationTrust2017EmployerHealthBenefitsSurvey. The2017surveyincludesinformationontheuseofincentivesfor employerwellnessprograms,plancostsharing,andfirmofferrates.
