Forlargefirms,theaveragefamilypremiumrosefrom$12,233in2007to$19,235in2017[Figures 1.11and1.12]. • Forcoveredworkersinlargefirms,overthelastfiveyears,theaveragefamilypremiuminfirmsthatarefullyinsuredhas grownatasimilarratetotheaveragefamilypremiumforcoveredworkersinfullyorpartiallyself-fundedfirms(16%for fully insured plans and 21% for self-funded firms) [Figure 1.14].
