SKILL #1: COMMUNICATION The foundation of business is communication. The ability to communicate is paramount in any company and is also one of the most natural ways to include humor at work. At its most basic level, communication is about the exchange of thoughts, 1 opinions or information through speech, writing or signs . In fact, we’re communicating right now. I’m telling you about communication and I can only assume you are nodding your head, thinking “Mhmm, he is so right about communication.” In all communication there is a sender and receiver, each with equally important roles.
