For example, if you’re going to give the definition of a word, ask the audience if they have an idea of what it means first. This keeps the audience engaged and helps you understand any preconceived notions you may need to adjust for. 57. Explain Like I’m Five Explain the topic as if you were describing it to a 5 year old 1 (meaning as simple as possible) . 58. Be Magical Learn a simple magic trick and use it in your training as a parallel to a key learning topic. 59.
