Before his VC career, Sacca was the head of Google’s strategic initiatives, which included establishing data centers and leading the free WiFi network in Mountain View, California. “This whole venture capital thing started when I left the perfect gig at Google to break out on my own,” he wrote on the website. “I was just following my gut.” He added that he didn’t have a set plan or the money to be an investor. “I soon worried I had made the biggest mistake of my life,” he said.
