The general user expectation is to load the page within 1 second (for HTTP pages) to 5 seconds (for HTTPS pages). • Above the fold time: It is the time taken to render the page components within user view (above the fold). • Perceived response time: It is the page load time perceived by the end user. We should aim to keep a minimal perceived page load time for improved user experience.
