Excellence Awards Now in its 22nd year, the Gensler Design Excellence Awards (GDEA) program sets a standard of excellence that nurtures and elevates our design culture. The rigorous review process begins with staff in each of the firm’s 10 regions, who critique projects from outside their region, which are then vetted by design leaders. A shortlist is critiqued by an external jury, who convene to deliberate 95 projects to recognize during a live broadcast to the firm.
