Cast Iron Sausage Dip Serves: 10 Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes • • 1 lb. locally sourced or grocery-store ground sausage 2 (16-oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened 1 (10-oz.) can diced tomatoes and green chiles 1. Heat oven to 350°F. 2. In a skillet (preferably cast iron), brown the sausage. Strain excess fat or oil. 3. In large bowl, pour the sausage on top of the cream cheese. 4. Mix in diced tomatoes and green chiles. Stir well. 5. Spread mixture back into skillet (or a baking dish). 6. Bake for 30 minutes. 7. Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.
