She is passionate about supporting VC-backed, high-growth innovation companies. Partnering with founders and their teams from Series A up to IPO, Sonya and her team provide debt capital and financial services to help companies successfully build global businesses. Sonya has over 25 years of Corporate and Commercial Banking experience, working with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies. Before her current role, she was responsible for building the Venture & Growth business for Silicon Valley Bank in Europe and has also held leadership roles across Lloyds, Bank of Ireland and Allied Irish Banks.
