Chapter I Basic Internet Resources I. An Overview of Basic Internet Resources Up to December 2016, China had 338 million IPv4 addresses and 21,188 blocks/32 of IPv6 addresses. There were totally 42.28 million domain names in China. Specifically, “.CN” domain names annually increased by 25.9% to 20.61 million and accounted for 48.7% of the total domain names in China. There were altogether 4.82 million websites, an annual increase of 14.1%, among which 2.59 million were “.CN” websites. International Internet bandwidth reached 6,640,291 Mbps, with an annual growth rate of 23.1%.
