From the “Free Lunch” to the “Ice Bucket Challenge” fundraising, a range of successful public welfare activities utilizing new fundraising model show the advantage of mobile Internet in communication, which timely delivers charitable information to netizens, subtly raises netizens’ awareness of philanthropy and promotes the development of social charity culture. Third, it makes charitable organizations more efficient, transparent and sustainable.
