Conservation, one tree at a time. That’s original. Banyan Tree at Pacific Place Considering our collective future, has always been part of our original approach to sustainable development. This large banyan tree, believed to have been planted in 1870, was preserved during the construction of Pacific Place in 1988, with a 10 metres deep and 18 metres diameter cylindrical structure built to contain the roots. Over 30 years later, this beautiful tree continues to flourish. Conservation, one tree at a time. That’s original.
