EVENTS ISOL 2023 Mr Deepak Jain, CMD - Lumax Industries Limited along with other distinguished dignitaries from the automotive industry inaugurated the International Symposium on Lighting (iSoL) organised by International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT). iSoL is one of the biggest automotive lighting symposiums in Asia pacific region that provides a common platform to professionals related directly or indirectly to the automotive lighting fraternity from all around the globe to share their experiences and learn about the trends in automotive lighting. The meets included discussion on plant performances, challenges and other operational issues. The winners of several internal competitions were awarded during the Town Halls. Open House Meeting Open House Meetings were held at Lumax Industries Limited - Pantnagar providing an open platform to update employees about last month performance, take their suggestions and resolve their issues in April – June 2023. EVENTS CAE India Manager Visit to LETC, Czech Republic Mr Abhay Chougule, CAE India Manager from Lumax Industries Limited – Pune visited Lumax Europe Technical Centre at Ostrava, Czech Republic in August 2023. During his visit he interacted with Mr Vitezslav Labaj and Mr Martin Zigmund reviewing and updating the CAE strategy. They focused on cross functional workshops with NTG and Optics Team, exploring of potential internal CAE software possibilities mainly Sun Load and Radiation Analysis, which is very important for modern system for thermal behavior optimisation. Mr Vítězslav Labaj and Mr Abhay Chougule also visited and interacted with key suppliers in the region to reinforce our cooperation and benchmark their processes.

IAC Strategy Alignment and Goals Review Workshop In the month of April, IAC India Leadership Team had a Strategic Goal Setting and Alignment Osite Workshop where cross-functional stakeholders aligned with each other to achieve the Strategic Objective of the Organization. Mr Sunil Koparkar, Managing Director – IAC India addressed the leadership group about the renewed Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Strategic priorities of IAC India. The workshop is organized to take HoD away from day-to-day operations and to focus solely on strategy and business plans, brainstorm ideas to enhance our goals, and to establish benchmarks for how we’ll measure progress and define success. It was a collaborative session where cross-functional stakeholders got together to align and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

IAC World Health Day A global health awareness day is celebrated every year on 7th April as World Health Day also to mark WHO's founding. We at IAC celebrated this in a unique way by arranging a Blood donation camp with Arpan Blood Bank. Arpan Blood Bank currently working on a project for children suering from Thalassemia. Felt grateful to contribute for a virtuous cause. Ms Anuja Joshi a renowned Dietician from Shri Guruji Hospital, Nashik gratuitously consulted on Nutrition and Dietary Tips. Mr Dnyanesh Kulkarni shared the remarkable contribution of Shree Guruji Hospital towards various Social Causes. A day well spent for the cause of Health for all. Environment Day #BeatPlasticPollution Packaging and Plastic carry bags are dominant household plastic wastes. This year IAC distributed Jute bags for groceries to all our employees to reduce household plastic waste. Also, a small yet significant contribution towards Mother Nature by planting a sapling as a token of love and gratitude towards mother nature.

TRAININGS Trainings Manesar team members from Lumax participated in virtual and on site sessions on manufacturing processes in April - June 2023.. These regular trainings helps in achieving manufacturing excellence and ensure overall smooth functioning of the plants without any accidents. First Aid Training First Aid Training was held at Lumax Industries Limited – Dharuhera in May 2023 in collaboration with Red Cross Society, Rewari, Haryana. Several members participated at the training. Internal Kaizen Competition Teams actively participated in Internal Kaizen Competition held at Lumax Industries Limited - Dharuhera in June 2023.

CSR Empowering Communities: Our Commitment to Education and Health Focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals, Lumax-DK Jain Group is committed towards creating a better tomorrow, today. The major areas of our initiatives have been Healthcare and Education with several other initiatives related to infrastructure development, sanitation, etc. In the first quarter of FY24, Lumax-DK Jain Groupthrough its CSR arm Lumax Charitable Foundation (LCF) continued implementation of several initiatives. Personal Hygiene Sessions and Sanitary Napkins Distribution Around 23 million girls in India drop out from formal education every year due to lack of menstrual Hygiene management facilities, which include access to sanitary napkins, awareness on menstruation, and access to clean toilets with running water and disposal facilities in the school. To normalizing menstruation in Haryana, Maharashtra and Gujarat, Personal Hygiene awareness sessions were conducted for adolescents’ girls of class 9th -12th covering 26 schools. The objective of the initiative was to: Increase access and use of sanitary napkins among adolescent girls Educate girls to build strong mindset for healthy lifestyles that can protect & improve their menstrual health

CSR Community Meetings At the village Hassanpur Tauru in Haryana, LCF conducted two community meetings with the objective to understand the community needs, build rapport and providing awareness sessions on various topics like Gender Equality & Financial Literacy. In these community meetings, 150 community members participated and were actively involved in discussions and deliberations to share their interests, opportunities available, and ideate on nurturing their talents to generate income.

It involves introspection, reflection, and conscious awareness of one's own mental and emotional states. LCF conducted sessions on self-awareness with classes 9th & 10th in all schools. Self-awareness plays a fundamental role in various aspects of human development, including personal growth, decision-making, and social interactions. Students wrote their thoughts on given topics and presented in front of others in classroom which gave them confidence to exchange the ideas. It also enabled the students to observe and regulate their actions, emotions, and social interactions. In May, highly informative and interactive sessions on Cyber Crime and Cyber Security were also conducted for these students.The primary objective of the sessions was to raise awareness among students about the risks associated with Cyber Crime and to educate them about the importance of Cyber Security. CSR Life Skill Sessions - Self-Awareness/Self-Knowledge Sessions The session catered importance of Cyber Security in the digital age and facilitator provided an overview of various types of Cyber Crimes, including hacking, identity theft, phishing, malware attacks and social engineering. Real-life examples were shared to illustrate the consequences and potential damage caused by Cyber Crimes. Students were educated about creating strong and unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication and updating software regularly. POWER HOUSE Breaking Barriers: Inspiration and Innovation Dr. Ekta Nagpal Bhayana, with 22 years of diverse experience encompassing academia and industry, embarked on a journey with Lumax in 2018. She joined Lumax to provide Electronics training to the Mechanical R&D team and soon found herself presented with the opportunity to establish and lead the Mechatronics Division in 2019. Her involvement in the design and development of advanced Electronics gear shift levers, as well as her role in transitioning from discrete component-based to CAN-based SBW shifters, has been pivotal. In terms of academic background, Dr. Bhayana holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, which she earned in 2022. Her research focus was on Antenna Design for 5G Technology. She also holds a Master's degree (MTech) obtained in 2009 in Electronics & Communication, specializing in Digital Signal Processing. Furthermore, she has a Bachelor's degree from 2004 and a related Diploma. Dr. Bhayana's scholarly contribu- tions include 11 research articles published in various national and international journals, including Scopus Index Journals. Additionally, she has individually filed 2 patents in her research area in 2022. BEYOND WORK Eye Screening Camp – LATL Manesar An Eye Screening Camp was organised for our colleagues at Lumax Auto Technologies Limited - Manesar in May 2023. The camp was conducted by a team from Centre for Sight, Gurugram. 137 employees benefitted from this eye checkup camp. Health Awareness Session A Health Awareness Session was held at Lumax Industries Limited - Dharuhera in April 2023 in collaboration with Diabetes Hospital, Rewari. Several members actively participated in the session and benefitted from it. POSH Awareness Session POSH Awareness Session was held for all the employees at Lumax Industries Limited – Pantnagar in June 2023 to create awareness amongst all employees about sexual harassment at workplace.

BEYOND WORK Retirement Ceremony Mr Jag Mohan Panwar, Division Manager – Dispatch retired after 36 years and 2 months of service from Lumax Industries Limited – Dharuhera in June 2023. We express our gratitude for his contributions to Lumax and wish him a happy and fulfilling second innings.

BEYOND WORK New Joiners Induction / Plant Visit Several New joiners from Chakan, Pune visited Lumax Industries Limited - Pantnagar as part of their induction process for better understanding of the products and manufacturing processes and enhancing their awareness in April 2023. Eye Check-up Camp – LIL Dharuhera Eye Check-up Camps were held at Lumax Industries Limited – Dharuhera in May and June 2023 in collaboration with Apollo Eye Care & Optical, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and Vedanta Eye & General Hospital, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Several members benefitted from these camps. Fire Safety Mock Drill A fire safety mock drill was organised at Lumax Industries Limited – Pantnagar in June 2023 to create awareness and strengthen response and evacuation eorts.
