For example, the Cummins Learning Center, the company’s online learning platform, offers a wide range of courses, from mandatory ethics and safety classes to voluntary learning on data modeling, project management and advanced business problem-solving tools such as Six Sigma. When designing base pay compensation ranges, the company performs a market analysis to be sure ranges are current and employees are advancing their earning potential. Cummins also does annual compensation studies to assess market movement, pay equity and living wages.
