Juliana Charlotte Madison McBride was born weighing just 1 pound, 11 ounces. Juliana spent months in the hospital, the first 10 weeks of her life was in the NICU. She was then transferred to a second hospital for neurosurgery. When we first saw her, we were in awe of how tiny she was, that she made it and how she fought to live from day one. Every day of her life in the NICU was emotional for us, but we embraced every moment of it. We have shed many tears, and I’m sure we’ll shed more, because what we’ve realized is that we love her more than life itself. We just didn’t know that love could be this strong.
