Travel and Events ● Achieve a 50% reduction in air travel emissions intensity (GHG emissions / $ Revenue) relative to FY20 levels ● Work to make our events more sustainable by conserving resources, sourcing responsibly, reducing waste, and inspiring our attendees to do the same ● Engage vendors and supply chain on our environmental commitments to provide sustainability solutions before, during, and after events ● Reduce nonessential business travel where feasible through the use of technologies such as video conferencing Waste ● Provide recycling and compost collection whenever possible and create employee-facing education campaigns focused on proper waste sorting and waste reduction best practices ● Reduce single-use plastic and food waste by offering reusable dishware, cups and cutlery, bulk snack options, and employee fridges for storing leftovers ● Responsibly and securely resell or recycle as much hardware and peripheral equipment as possible through third-party recycling vendors ● Partner with local community nonprofits to donate furniture, fixtures, and equipment from our offices whenever feasible ● Serve event meals in compostable packaging ● Plan for reusability and prioritize sustainable materials for event signage and branding ● Minimize swag to avoid items ensign up in the landfill Procurement ● Outline our commitment to protecting and respecting the environment in our Global Supplier Code of Conduct, and affirm our expectation that our suppliers will comply with all applicable environmental regulations wherever they do business ● Achieve our goal that suppliers representing 60% of our Scope 3 emissions set their own science-based targets by 2024 ● Include environmental obligations in supplier contracts with our Sustainability Exhibit ● Include environmental criteria in our supplier selection and supplier performance evaluation processes Employee Success ● As part of new-hire orientation, educate new employees on sustainability initiatives and ways to incorporate sustainability into their professional development
