21 ELSTEADLIGHTING.COM SHADES BY Beautiful hand crafted shades can bring table and floor lamps, as well as wall and ceiling fittings alive with vibrant colours or classic pleated shades. In the spring of 2018, Elstead Lighting Ltd developed the Designer's Light Box brand, which focuses on designers and specialist retailers. Supporting this, we also acquired Crimway Lighting to bring the manufacture of shades in-house. We pledge to maintain the tradition of hand- crafted shade making in the UK. This involves continuing with the facility and team based near Silverstone to carry on the bespoke shade service, as well as develop a larger mass produced shade making facility at the head office in Alton, Hampshire. With acquiring this great heritage in shade making, we are delighted to offer a comprehensive collection of hundreds of shape and size options, in more than 250 beautifully coloured fabrics. Combined with the metalwork skills already established in the Elstead factory, we are dedicated to developing a bigger and better bespoke shade framing service for larger home and hospitality products over the coming months.
