For example, you might want to use your pro昀椀le only to connect with people you have met in person and use your fan page for all strangers. Or you might want to use your pro昀椀le to connect with both your friends and the friends of your friends, building your network. How you go about screening people is up to you. When you create a fan page for yourself, be sure to post to it often so that it shows activity. If people want to become your fan but click on your fan page and see that you haven’t updated it since the Stone Age, they’ll proba- bly reconsider.
