Visual Elements Livery 1.35 Plane images can be cropped as long as care is taken to ensure that the logotype, Flight Symbol and/or livery are not cut off. At least one of the livery’s two key design elements (tail or American logotype with the Flight Symbol) must be identifiable/recognizable and in context. Images cannot be cropped to only show a part of the plane that is not easily identifiable. The preferred side of the plane is the Starboard side – where the word “American” and the Flight Symbol line up in the traditional fashion.
