Because water withdrawn can also be returned, water consumption is inherently lower. *** Indirect water consumption from inkjet and LaserJet printers that HP manufactures for sale and service by other original equipment manufacturers is excluded from our water footprint. In 2021, these printers represented less than 5.3% of HP printers manufactured in the reporting year, and consequently, their associated indirect water consumption during product use represented less than 6.6% of the product life cycle water consumption of all HP-manufactured printers.
