Common questions

About forward-looking statements, Regulation FD, advice, data and set-up.

What is IR AI Chat?

IR AI Chat is RELAYTO’s AI assistant for investor relations. It answers investors’ questions from the documents a company has published, cites the page each answer comes from, and replies in the investor’s language, on a full-page chat, beside each document or across the IR site.

Can IR AI Chat make forward-looking statements?

It does not make its own. Asked about the future, it restates the guidance you published, with the date it was issued and your cautionary language, or says that no guidance was given. It never projects figures from past results.

How does IR AI Chat relate to Regulation FD?

It answers only from documents you have already published, so it adds no information beyond what every investor can read. Your Regulation FD language can be shown before the first question and with answers. Whether that fits your disclosure policy is for your counsel to decide.

Does it give investment advice?

No. It declines questions on whether to buy, sell or hold the shares, on price targets and on how the shares will perform, and points investors to your published materials and disclaimers instead.

What if the answer isn’t in our documents?

It says so, and where a page addresses the question, for example the outlook page that says when the next guidance is due, it cites that page. It does not fill the gap from the web or general knowledge. Those questions appear in your analytics as not answered, so your next materials can cover them.

Can we restrict the chat by country or investor type?

Yes. You can set what the chat offers by country of residence, and separately for institutional and retail investors, and require every investor to accept your terms before the first question.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Your documents and your investors’ questions are used only to answer those questions, and are not used to train AI models. The question log is kept for the retention period you set.

Which languages does it support?

Investors can ask in their own language and get the answer in it. Citations still point to the page of your original document, so an answer in Spanish or Japanese is checked against the English source. Suggested questions follow the language of the investor’s browser.

Can our legal team review what investors asked?

Yes. Every question and answer is kept with its sources in an audit trail your IR and legal teams can review and export.

How long does set-up take?

IR AI Chat can be live the same day. Send us your documents, and our team loads them and sets the name, brand, starter questions, disclaimer and guardrails with you. Adding the chat to your current IR site needs no migration.
